beautiful ugly

This months challenge: to take pictures of the not so pretty and make them interesting :)I just shot some random things, not sure that they are "beautiful" but here is my attempt to make them a bit more interesting :) When I told my husband this months challenge he said "guess you aren't using the kids" hehe, my go to subjects! Not sure the last one is "ugly" at all but I thought I would use it anyway :) Now head over to Andrea's blog and check out her awesome pictures!!

interesting perspective

This challenge was so hard for me. I should have started this WAY sooner than I did! My kids enjoyed helping so that's a plus :). Can't wait to follow the circle around and see everyone's take on this month's challenge. I had a a couple of ideas that I wish I would have put more time into. food challenge

Tuesday was my birthday and my kids decorated my cake all by themselves, I immediately knew what I was going to take pictures of for this challenge (last minute I know). I know nothing about food photography but this is the most beautiful cake I've ever seen(the crunchiest too)! With every bump of the table sprinkles tumbled down the cake and onto the floor. I'm pretty sure we will be finding them for some time all over the house. Please follow the circle around and check out some yummy shots by Andrea!

the way i view holidays

My little ones on Christmas Eve. We take a picture in front of the tree with them in their pj's every year. Please finish the circle and check out Angela's view on holidays! This was so much fun ladies!!! I had a blast, loved seeing everyone's awesome pictures!

celebrating

My big boy stayed dry all night for the first time. I know it may not seem like much to some but we gave high fives and did a dance all the way down the hall this morning. So proud of my little man. He celebrated by enjoying some Cocoa Puffs for the first time with a big boy glass of milk. Way to go big boy!
